[/vc_column_text][mk_divider][vc_column_text]Virtual Archaeology Initiative: @ASOR_Research is now on TikTok
Thanks to the Membership & Outreach Committee, ASOR launched the Virtual Archaeology Initiative this summer. One of the purposes of this initiative is to allow people who cannot or would not be able to participate in actual excavations to feel as if they are still can. The goal is to create digital assets that illustrate or teach various steps involved in the archaeological process. Students who received 2023 fieldwork scholarships have volunteered to document their experiences in the field. These videos will be appearing over the next couple of month’s on ASOR’s newly created TikTok and also eventually on ASOR’s YouTube channel. If you are interested in contributing to the Virtual Archaeology Initiative and having your fieldwork videos on ASOR’s TikTok, please email Marta Ostovich.[/vc_column_text][mk_divider][vc_column_text]
