ASOR’s Publications Committee seeks new members to serve renewable, three-year terms (January 2022-December 2024). All ASOR members are welcome to apply, though the committee is particularly interested in new members who have experience working in publishing. The committee is currently chaired by Kevin McGeough. The ASOR Bylaws state, “the Publications Committee shall appoint an editorial board for each ASOR publication. The Publications Committee also shall make recommendations to the Executive Committee and the Board regarding matters pertaining to ASOR publications.” The committee makes recommendations regarding ASOR’s journals (ANE Today, BASOR, JCS, and NEA) and ASOR books (AASOR and ASOR-ARS). The committee also makes recommendations regarding the Levantine Ceramics Project (LCP). Committee member responsibilities include attending committee meetings and recommending actions to the Chairs Coordinating Council.
