ASOR is accepting applications for the 2021 Student Paper Award. This award is conferred upon the author(s) of a paper presented during either component (In-Person/Chicago, Nov. 17-19; Virtual, Dec. 9-12) of the Annual Meeting that conveys the results of a study about ancient Near Eastern and wider Mediterranean societies in a clear, understandable and convincing fashion. The first author and presenter of the paper must be a registered student at the time of presentation in order to be eligible for consideration for this award. Students will need to complete the following steps to be considered for the award. Applications are due November 8.

Students and Early Career Scholars at the 2019 Annual Meeting

1.  Please complete this Google Form in order to apply for the Student Paper Award.

2.  Submit your pre-recorded paper presentation (mp4 video, 20 minutes maximum) by November 8 to Jared Koller (jaredkoller@asor.org) using a DropBox link or other file sharing method. Even students who will present their papers live in Chicago still need to submit the presentation recording to be considered for the award.
