Boxes Arrangement: Arranged in alphabetic sequence by subject except the artifact cards. The artifact cards are divided into three categories: undated, dated, and numbered. The undated are arranged by site. The dated are arranged by period (in this order: Chalcolithic, Egyptian Dynasties, Bronze Age, Pre-Israelite, Iron Age, Israelite, Persian, Jewish, Greco-Persian, Hellenistic, Seleucid, Hellenistic-Roman, Roman, Byzantine, Arab, Modern) and then by site within each period. The numbered are arranged by plate and figure number.

Scope and Contents
The artifact cards from Fisher’s Corpus of Palestinian Pottery make up the majority of the collection. Other items include personal writings, photographs, sketchbooks, financial documents, notes, excavation diaries, correspondence, and drawings. The papers primarily document pottery analysis from various excavations in the Near East. Some other information about the excavations is included also. In addition to professional work, CSF was an amateur playwright. Many of these plays are included in the Creative Writings section.
