Scope and Contents
This collection contains the records from the American School of Oriental Research in Jerusalem (now known as the Albright Institute for Archaeological Research). The dates of the materials range from 1880 to 1984, although the bulk fall within 1930 and 1979. There are financial documents, ledgers, correspondence, as well as legal materials. All pertain to the administrative running of the school. Furthermore, the collection holds artifact drawings and photographs of the many excavations funded by ASOR in Israel.
