2025 INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL RESOURCES

ASOR is committed to creating an inclusive, respectful environment for all attendees. We recognize that some international travelers may face diminished expectations of privacy at borders. ASOR’s Carolyn Midkiff Strange Committee on Growth, Innovation, and Visibility has compiled the following list of resources below for informational purposes only. ASOR is not offering advice or counsel.

Invitation & Participation Letters: If you need an invitation letter confirming your participation at the 2025 ASOR Annual Meeting, please contact Moni Islam, info@asor.org

Entry & Visa Requirements: All international attendees must pass through the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Depending on your country of origin, you may need one or more of the following:

  • A valid visa (most often B-1 for conference travel)
  • An ESTA approval if you’re from a Visa Waiver Program country
  • An e-Passport (with chip) if using ESTA
  • Proof of travel purpose and duration (see invitation letter above)

Please note that fees may be higher than in previous years, especially for travelers from countries not covered by the Visa Waiver Program.
