The Friends of ASOR Committee advises on ASOR’s outreach and fundraising initiatives directed toward individuals who share an interest in the archaeology, history, and cultures of the Near East and wider Mediterranean, but who may not yet be ASOR members. The Committee focuses in particular on webinars, tours, and the ANE Today online publication. Its goals are to expand ASOR’s community of supporters, amplify the impact of members’ scholarly contributions, and identify and develop fundraising opportunities.
