It’s that time of year again—join the madness!
ASOR is lucky to have very generous donors who have helped endow excavation fellowships. But student interest and need is rapidly growing — we received a whopping 204 applications (64 more than last year). Right now, we have funding to support 29 of these worthy candidates. Enter March Fellowship Madness: your opportunity to help even more students get into the field.
Due to rising travel and accommodation costs, ASOR has increased the dollar amount of excavation fellowships for 2016 to $2,000 each. Thus, we need your help more than ever.
Indeed, you support archaeology in a very direct way by giving any amount to March Fellowship Madness. Every gift matters, and we hope that you will consider a gift of $10, $100, $1000, or more. ASOR does not charge any administrative fee for gifts made during March Fellowship Madness, so 100% of your contribution supports students who have a demonstrated need.
