2014 CALL FOR PAPERS
ASOR’s Annual Meeting Program Committee solicits papers from scholars seeking to present their research and new discoveries at the 2014 Annual Meeting. The updated Call for Papers now includes newly approved Member-Organized Sessions. Abstracts of 250 words or less should be submitted via ASOR’s online abstract submission system.
The deadline for submission of abstracts is February 15, 2014.
The Program Committee has worked hard to develop a diverse offering of academic sessions, which includes the following formats:
- ASOR Sessions for the presentation of new research in the broad temporal, regional, and disciplinary areas represented in the ASOR membership
- Member-Organized Sessions that explore a specific topic or theme proposed by members
- Workshop Sessions developed around a tightly focused topic and designed to be interactive with substantive discussion
- Projects on Parade poster session as a less formal venue for presenting research (abstract submissions will be accepted starting June 2014)
For those who would like to present papers, please make sure to review the guidelines for Abstract Submissions before submitting abstracts for review. Professional membership in ASOR and registration for the Annual Meeting are required at the time of abstract submission (directions will be provided in the confirmation of abstract receipt). Abstracts will not be reviewed until first authors of the papers have registered for the meeting. Should an abstract not be accepted, the registration fee can be refunded.
This year’s meeting will be held at The Westin San Diego from November 19th – 22nd.
