Faustus, a peripatetic Roman lamp maker of the Augustan period, produced and distributed his lamps in the Roman east. These two lamps with preserved signatures were found at Tel Anafa, Israel, but his lamps are also known from Cyprus, Delos, Egypt, and Sabratha among other sites.
