BASOR is the scholarly journal of the American Schools of Oriental Research. It publishes manuscripts consistent with the broad areas of research and scholarship supported by the organization. These areas include the archaeology, art, history, anthropology, literature, philology, and epigraphy of the Near East and eastern Mediterranean from the Paleolithic period through early Islamic times. The journal is published four times a year.
Circulation:
1,775 individual members and institutions subscribe to BASOR. Subscribers include students, researchers, and professors in archaeological, biblical and Near Eastern studies. Institutional circulation includes libraries, museums, religious schools and universities.
