By becoming an ASOR member, you join us in our mission to initiate, encourage, and support research into, and public understanding of, the history and cultures of the Near East and wider Mediterranean, from the earliest times. Membership provides valuable benefits. Your dues help us foster original research, exploration, and archaeological fieldwork, encourage scholarship about Near Eastern and Mediterranean traditions and societies, sustain the highest academic standards in interdisciplinary research and teaching, and support efforts to protect, preserve, and present to the public the historic and cultural heritage of the Near Eastern and Mediterranean world.

These memberships include:

  • Print subscription to any two ASOR journals or online subscription to all three. Both print and online available for an additional $25.
  • Discounts on books and
    Annual Meeting registration.
  • Eligibility to apply for ASOR fellowships and grants.
  • Eligibility to present at the Annual Meeting.
  • Eligibility to serve on editorial boards and academic committees.
  • Access to the online ASOR Membership Directory
  • Eligibility to vote in member-wide elections.
  • Subscription to e-newsletters, The Ancient Near East Today and News@ASOR.

*Non-US residents add $40 for print subscriptions.
