This series consists of journals, correspondence, and general documentation of the excavation, including work permits and timesheets.

Folder 2: Excavation Supplies, ca. 1950-1955
Folder 3-7: Journals, 1951-1965 These files contain payroll books, a level book, and a journal with survey notes and some narrative description.

Series 2: Photographs and Negatives, 1951-1956
This series contains 584 prints and 696 negatives that document excavations at Dhiban. Most of these document the site and the recovered artifacts; some photographs include people. The majority of photographs have notations on the back.

Folder 5: Negatives: Spring 1952, 1952 These negatives are numbered and labeled at an item level (see downloadable Appendix 1). The rest of the negatives may be identifiable as duplicates of the photographs. There are two notebooks in the Series 1. Journals file that may also describe some of the negatives.
