ACOR (Jordan) - The American Center of Oriental Research (ACOR) is the largest research institute in Amman, Jordan. Each visitor to the center marvels at the pleasant working atmosphere and the excellent working conditions provided by the facility and the staff manning the center. The extensive 35,000 volume library provides researchers, students and professors with resources in numerous fields.
AIAR (Jerusalem) - The Albright Institute of Archaeological Research (AIAR) annually provides up to $252,000 in fellowships and awards to 28 recipients. In addition, 32 Associate Fellows including Senior, Post-Doctoral, and Research Fellows receive funding from other sources.
CAARI (Cyprus) - Located in Nicosia, Cyprus, The Cyprus American Archaeological Research Institute (CAARI) provides one of the most important centers for the scholarly study of archaeology, history and culture in the Eastern Mediterranean. Scholars from these and other academic disciplines and all nationalities come together under our roof to share multidisciplinary approaches and research findings.
Baghdad Committee: This committee recommends recipients for the Mesopotamian Fellowship to the ASOR board. This fellowship funds researchers studying the region, through the generosity of the James B. Nies Trust.
