PROJECTS ON PARADE POSTER SESSION IN THE BIG EASY
After the success of the inaugural “Projects on Parade” poster session in Boston, CAP, CAMP and the Junior Scholars Committee will again sponsor the “Projects on
Parade” event and we would like to invite you to participate. At this year’s ASOR Annual Meeting in NOLA, we invite all members to submit a poster on their work. The poster session is an ideal opportunity to involve student and junior members in the ASOR meeting, as well as getting the word out about your research. “Projects on Parade” provides an excellent venue for disseminating the recent results of research. We are looking for posters that highlight: projects (excavations, archival research, museum research and the like) in general; a technical aspect of your project (cutting edge use of GIS etc…); a spectacular find from the field season; or use the session as a great advertisement for students looking for a summer field school.
If you are interested or have questions, please send a message of your intent to submit by September 15th to Morag Kersel (morag.kersel@utoronto.ca). While we hope to have the posters prominently displayed throughout the duration of themeeting, we have tentatively scheduled the formal poster session to run on Saturday over the lunch break.
We hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity and submit a poster to the “Projects on Parade” event at the ASOR Annual Meeting in New Orleans.
With best wishes,
Morag Kersel (CAMP co-Vice President)
Michael Homan (CAMP co-Vice President)
Øystein S. LaBianca (CAP Vice President)
Jonathan Lawrence (Junior Scholars Committee, Chairperson)
