Airline
American Airlines is offering special rates, which provide a 5% discount off most published round-trip fares, for those attending the 2010 ASOR Annual Meeting. This discount will be available for attendees arriving and departing between November 15-22.
To take advantage of this discount, please follow these instructions:
- Make a reservation by calling American Airlines Meeting Services desk directly at 1-800-433-1790 (Monday-Sunday, 6:00 AM–12:00 AM CST) or book online. Please note there will be a $20 service fee collected per ticket if flights are booked via the phone; however, bookings via the internet are free of charge.
- To receive the discount, please reference promotional code A51N0AF (if making a reservation online, reference promotional code 51N0AF ).
- This discount is valid for travel from all markets where American Airlines, American Eagle, AmericanConnection Service, and all oneworld Alliance Partners (collectively “American Airlines”) is available (United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Bahamas, Bermuda, the Caribbean, Europe, Pacific, Mexico, and Latin America). Car Rental
Avis Worldwide is offering discounted rates on rental car services for those attending the 2010 ASOR Annual Meeting.
This discount will be available between November 10-27.

Airport Shuttle
The Atlanta Link is committed to providing guests with exceptional customer service. Shuttles run continually from the airport to the downtown hotels from 6am – Midnight, with a 15 minute wait or less. Clients who use the shuttles experience a comfortable relaxing ride being dropped off and picked up directly at the front door of the hotel.

Public Transportation
The Metropolitan Transit Authority (MARTA) operates Atlanta’s local public transportation system. MARTA's airport station is attached to the Airport, right off baggage claim. One way fares are only $2.00 and within 20 minutes, you can be downtown. Please click here for a map and more information.
The Sheraton Atlanta Hotel is located at Peachtree Center Station, stop #N1. Once you exit your train, proceed to the escalators on the north end of the train station. (Iif you travel south, go left. If you travel north go right). Once through the exit gates, go to the long escalator to your right. Follow to the street level. Once on the street level, go left toward the Hard Rock Café. Turn left at the Hard Rock Cafe, that will be Andrew Young International Boulevard. Walk 2 blocks and the hotel will be on the right at the intersection of International Boulevard and Courtland Street.
Taxis
A set fee prevails between the airport and the central business district. A special per-person rate applies for two or more passengers.
