Student Travel Grants

We are pleased to announce a new travel grant program to benefit students attending the Annual Meeting. Through the generosity of Eric and Carol Meyers, this year ASOR will already be able to offer ten $250 grants to students attending schools that are Institutional Members of ASOR to help offset the cost of their attending the national meeting to present papers.

Eligibility: Students must be enrolled at an ASOR Insitutional Member (please consult the list below to check if your institution is a member). Applicants must be accepted in an academic session and be presenting a paper.

Applying: Send by email ( asor@bu.edu ):

  • an abstract of the paper to be given at the meeting,
  • information about the degree program in which you are presently enrolled
  • a short paragraph about your career goals

Notification: The Institutional Membership Committee will award the grants at our meeting in D.C.
